Finnish Association of Neuroscience Nurses (FANN) was founded in 1996 and registered in 1999.

The objective of FANN is to develop co-operation between nurses in neurosurgical and neurological departments in Finland and to promote international co-operation.

FANN also supports the development of neuroscientific research.

FANN works toward achieving its goals by publishing newsletters, by organising its own educational congress, by admitting grants and by being the link between similar associations in Europe and beyond.
